This poster was created and presented as part of the first exhibition of “The Feast of the Barbarians” at the prestigious Musée des Arts et Métiers in Paris, beneath the choir of the Saint-Martin-des-Champs chapel, next to Foucault’s Pendulum.
It is the ultimate photograph of the Trilogy of the Moderns.
Uninhibited and uncompromising, the Barbarians are those who push boundaries to excess, to the point of chaos. They are not without genius. They infiltrate by every possible means, ready to overturn established codes, to break free from social rules, to disrupt ways of life—ultimately transcending the human condition.
